Detectives investigating two shooting incidents in Leeds have arrested a 17-year-old youth.
He was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences during an armed police operation at an address in Headingley last night.
A 17-year-old, who was shot and seriously injured in Pasture Road, Harehills, shortly before 6.00pm on Monday 16 July, has now been released from hospital following treatment and is also in police custody on suspicion of firearms offences.
The incident is believed to be linked to an earlier incident where a shotgun was fired at a house in Devon Close, Woodhouse, causing damage at about 3.37pm on Monday and an incident at an address in Roundhay Grove at about 3.20pm where a window was smashed.
