Police investigating recent thefts of high-value Land Rovers from rural parts of Harrogate have arrested a West Yorkshire man in connection with the offences.
A Land Rover Defender was stolen from Whixley overnight on 6 July – and a Land Rover Defender and a Honda quadbike were stolen from Lofthouse overnight on 7 July.
A 34-year-old man from Bradford was arrested on suspicion of burglary and drugs offences yesterday evening. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries, with conditions not to enter North Yorkshire.
