A 23 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery after a 70-year-old pensioner was shot after four men tried to steal his car.
This incident took place on Tuesday outside Hare and Hounds, on Toller Lane, Heaton at 8:52pm. Detective
Chief Inspector Ian Bryar of Bradford District CID, said: “It is possible the victim may have been followed to the pub and that his attackers were waiting for him to return to his vehicle.”
The arrested man remains in police custody and enquiries are on-going.
