Detectives investigating the attempted murder of a 17-year-old youth in a stabbing in Leeds on Vicar Lane at 6pm on Friday 3 July have charged a 15-year old male.
The male, who is from the Leeds area, is charged with S18 wounding and possession of a bladed article. He is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court tomorrow (Tuesday 7 July)
Everyone else arrested in connection with the incident has been released under investigation
The victim is continuing to receive treatment in hospital for injuries that are serious but not life threatening.
Detective Inspector Guy Shackleton, of Leeds District CID, said: “We are continuing to progress the investigation but are still very keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist in identifying further suspects.”
