Two men from Bradford have been charged with Modern Day Slavery Offences and Conspiracy to Commit Theft
Amaan Khan, 20 of Abbey Lea and Toheed Asif, 20 of Lynfield Drive have been charged with arranging or facilitating the travel of another with a view to exploitation and conspiracy to steal. Asif was also charged with assault occasioning actually bodily harm in relation to the same victim.
It comes after an investigation where a vulnerable man was forced to withdraw cash from his bank which is then believed to be linked to the supply of Class A drugs.
Khan and Asif were remanded and will appear at Bradford Crown Court on the 13th June 2022.
