Two men have been charged with murder following the death of a man near Oldham.
Daniel Forster 24, of Ashfield Crescent, Springhead and Michael Milligan Nield, 24, of Society Street, Shaw have both been charged with the murder of 34-year-old Daniel Hogan.
The charges are in relation to an incident which took place on High Street in Uppermill on Friday 21 December. Police were called shortly after 11.30pm to reports that a man had collapsed with head injuries.
Emergency services attended and administered first aid to Daniel Hogan before he was rushed to hospital, where he died a short time later.
