Tributes have flooded in following the death of a popular historian from Keighley.
Ian Dewhirst, know by some as ‘Mr Keighley’, died at the age of 82. He had compiled the Keighley News Memory Lane column for more than a quarter of a century and gave countless talks to organisations across the district and beyond.
Ian, who received the MBE 20 years ago in honour of his services to local history, also wrote several books.
