The trial of Zafreen Khadam, charged with ten offences of dissemination of terrorist publications has got under way at Sheffield Crown Court.
Zafreen Khadam is charged with ten offences contrary to Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006 allegedly including ISIS execution videos and “details of potential targets”.
Khadam was arrested by officers from the North East Counter Terrorism Unit on March 27, 2015.
This investigation was intelligence led and there is no evidence to suggest that any communities were or are at immediate risk in connection with this operation.
32 year old Khadam has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against her.
