A new report states that the local economy was given a £98m boost as the Tour de Yorkshire rolled through the county.
The study, commissioned by Welcome to Yorkshire, estimates that more than 2.5 million spectators lined the route over the four days of action in May.
The figures show 79% of the spectators were from Yorkshire, while 21% came from other parts of the UK and abroad.
