A recent study claims to provide a snapshot of the fuel poverty crisis in the UK as we enter the winter months.
The research, conducted by Solarpolicity and supported by Community Energy England, declares that 43 per cent of those surveyed stated the cost of heating their house forces them to think twice before turning it on.
It is also claimed that, in Yorkshire, a third of people (30 per cent) say they are always scared to put their heating on due to expensive fuel bills and 31 per cent say they know of several people who will struggle to pay their fuel bills this winter.
