Police are appealing for information after a 20 foot long waste disposal container was stolen from an industrial estate in Brighouse.
The incident is believed to have occurred around 6pm the evening of the 21st of February when suspects have used a pick-up type vehicle to remove the container from outside a business premises before making off. The vehicle used is believed to have been disproportionate to the container and is described as having high visibility stripes down the side.
Sergeant Darren Bedford of the Brighouse Neighbourhood Policing Team said; “Clearly this is a very unusual and distinctive item to have been stolen, and may have drawn attention due to the over-sized load for the size of the vehicle used and that it was around the evening rush hour when the item was taken.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have been in and around the area of the Branxholme Industrial Estate around 6pm and may have seen anyone in the vicinity who drew their attention, or who have seen the described vehicle with or without the container to come forward. “
