Police are appealing for witnesses after shots were fired in Bolton.
Shortly before 7pm on Wednesday the 11th of January 2017, police were called to Ashbourne Avenue, Bolton, to reports of a man with a gun.
Officers attended and found gunshot damage to a window in property on the street.
Police enquiries established that two men had ridden a moped onto Ashbourne Avenue, one carrying what is believed to be a sawn-off shotgun. The passenger got off the motorbike and fired a shot towards a house.
The passenger then got back on the motorbike and drove away.
Police have launched an investigation.
