Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in an incident in Huddersfield.
Huddersfield CID would like to speak with anyone who has information about the incident which took place between 3am and 4am on September 24th in St Peters Church Gardens, Huddersfield.
It took place after a 54-year-old man assaulted in an unprovoked attack by possibly more than one man, after leaving a pub in the town centre.
The victim received a serious injury to his jaw which required hospital treatment.
It is belived the suspect(s) may have been white and possibly wearing green T shirts.
DC Carla Senior of Huddersfield CID, said: "We are investigating this incident and are appealing for witnesses. Anyone who saw the offence or has any information which could assist our investigation should contact Huddersfield CID on 101.”
