Police have searched 27 addresses across Leeds over the last two weeks as part of on-going efforts to trace a man wanted in connection with firearms and threats to kill offences.
Craig Smith, aged 47, from Crossgates, is wanted on recall to prison following an incident on August 20.
He had been released on licence in September last year after serving part of a sentence for drugs offences and driving without insurance.
He is described as being 5ft 10ins tall and of heavy build. He has links across Leeds and to North Yorkshire, but may be sleeping rough.
Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Bryar, of West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: "We have been making extensive enquiries to trace Craig Smith, and this has so far included searches of 27 addresses across Leeds."
"We have only had a very limited response to our previous public appeal for information on his whereabouts and we urgently need to trace him and arrest him."
