Bradford Coroner’s Court was told a father and son from Pudsey drowned in a Huddersfield canal whilst “treasure hunting”.
Martin Andrews, 43, and his son Jack, 19, died while magnet fishing on 16 June. The court heard the pair were found standing upright together in the canal.
The coroner concluded they died as a result of misadventure and warned about the "inherent dangers" of the pastime.
