Saltaire is once again to play host to one of the more unusual events in Yorkshire.
Potato Day, organised by the West Yorkshire Organic Group, will be held at Shipley College’s Exhibition Hall on Saturday 9 February.
Each year the event attracts hundreds of visitors eager to pick up some rare spuds, with the more popular varieties normally selling out within minutes.
This year there will be 38 varieties of potato available, including heritage varieties, as well as advice on how to grow them.
