Police have confirmed the name of a woman whose body was found in a canal in Mirfield.
Linda Sheard, aged 36, from Mirfield, was found by officers on Tuesday (9 August) following reports of a body in the canal off Station Road, near to the Lidl car park.
Her family have now been informed.
Enquiries into the circumstances of her death are ongoing but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
