Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a commercial building in Trafford Park.
Shortly before 8.40am on Friday 24 February, police were called to reports that a unit on Astra Road had been broken into via the roof.
A large number of brand new digital televisions were stolen, with an approximate value of £50,000. The TVs were of many different makes, but predominantly Samsung, LG and JVC.
The offenders used trolleys to push the goods to a nearby vehicle, before fleeing onto Guinness Road and making off in an unknown direction.
Detective Constable Simon Johnson, of GMP's Trafford borough, said "I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident in the early hours or who has been offered a TV for sale from any of these makes in suspicious circumstances to get in touch. You could hold vital information."
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
