Police are urgently appealing for information to trace a man who has gone missing from Leeds and may be in the Blackpool area.
Nicholas Mark Slater, aged 54, who is known as Mark, was reported missing yesterday after last being seen at about 4pm on Wednesday.
He is described as white, 6ft 2ins tall, medium build, with short, light brown hair. He was last seen wearing jeans, tan coloured shoes, and possibly a waxed jacket or padded navy blue jacket. He was driving a gold Volvo estate, registration YK60YNS.
Enquiries suggest he may be in the Blackpool area.
Inspector Mark Atkinson said: "We are very concerned for Mark's welfare and urgently need to trace him and check he is okay. We would like to hear from anyone who has seen him, particularly in the Blackpool area."
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Leeds via 101.
