Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery at a convenience store in Netherthong, Holmfirth
Officers would like to speak to anyone who has information about the incident which took place at the Londis shop on Town Gate at about 6.35pm on Sunday, February 16.
The offence occurred after two suspects entered the store and threatened a male shopkeeper inside with bladed weapons.
They fled empty handed after being chased out by the shopkeeper who they had initially pushed to the floor.
The suspects, believed to be a man and woman, had their faces covered.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the offence and released under investigation.
