Police are appealing for information after a woman was raped in Oldham.
The victim, who is in her 30s, got into a white five-door car on Featherstall Road about 10.55pm on Monday, 2 May 2016.
She was driven a short distance and then she was raped inside the car.
The offender is described as Asian, between 32 and 42, of stocky build and with a trimmed black beard and black shaved hair.
He was also thought to be wearing dark jogging bottoms.
Detective Constable Kate Dawson from Oldham CID for Greater Manchester Police said: “I understand that an incident of this nature can cause concern in the community and I would like to reassure residents we are doing everything in our power to find the man responsible.
“This would have been a traumatic incident for the victim and we commend her for reporting it to police.
“We are currently following enquiries and this is believed to be an isolated incident.”
Anyone who may have seen the victim getting into the car or has any information about the incident is urged to call police.
