Police are appealing for information after a woman died following a serious road traffic collision in Leeds on Saturday.
At about 10.09am, a red Leyland DAF lorry was travelling eastbound on the A63 Selby Road in Garforth, when it was in collision with a 41-year-old woman close to the George roundabout.
The woman suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital, where she sadly died a short time later.
The driver stopped at the scene and was spoken to by police officers.
The Major Collision Enquiry Team are investigating the collision and are appealing for witnesses to it, or anyone who saw the movements of the vehicle or the pedestrian immediately before.
