Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed of his vehicle in Ovenden.
Shortly after 10pm last Friday (11 March), the 20-year-old victim was driving his blue Audi A3 on Nursery Lane towards the temporary traffic lights at the junction with Rugby Terrace when the driver of the vehicle behind him has sounded its horn.
The victim pulled over and a man got out of the other vehicle, approached the victim and pulled him from the Audi before getting in to the driver's seat.
Both vehicles were turned around and driven off towards Keighley Road.
The other vehicle involved is described as a black Seat Leon, possibly with an '07' plate.
The stolen vehicle is a blue Audi A3 S-Line, registration number B16 KGX and has yet to be recovered.
Detective Constable Alison Mitchell, of Calderdale District CID, said:
"We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Nursery Lane or Keighley Road who has seen any part of this incident or either of the described vehicles being driven away at speed from the scene.
"The vehicle is still outstanding and we would also like to hear from anyone with information about its whereabouts."
Anyone with information is asked to please call Calderdale District CID via 101, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
