A fire chief has issued a plea following two blazes within hours of each other in Keighley.
Firefighters were called out first to Prospect Mount, and then West Lane, on Sunday afternoon (19 May).
In both cases, there were no smoke detectors in the properties.
No injuries have been reported.
Watch commander of Keighley Fire Station Ahsan Ali said: "Smoke alarms give you vital extra minutes and can save lives."
