A pedestrian has been seriously injured by a taxi in Leeds.
The incident took place at 2.38am today (9 April) at the junction of Lower Briggate and Heaton’s Court in the city centre.
A woman, aged in her 40s, was involved in a collision with a taxi – a maroon Skoda Octavia.
She was taken to hospital for emergency treatment and is in a serious condition.
The driver of the Skoda stopped at the scene and has been spoken to by officers.
