Two men have been jailed for a total of 16 years after being convicted for sexually abusing boys at a children’s home.
Melvin Hamilton Blake of Menston was found guilty by a jury on nine charges of indecent assault.
The offences took place when the 70-year-old was working at Shadwell Children’s Home in Leeds, where he was deputy principal from 1985 until 1991.
He was acquitted on seven other charges of indecent assault.
The second defendant, Len Lake was convicted on two charges of indecent assault involving one boy has been jailed for two years.
