A nurse from Airedale Hospital has lost her job after it was discovered she had an inappropriate relationship with a patient.
A hearing of the Nursing and Midwifery Council heard how Diana-Lavinia Croitoru kissed and cuddled a man, whilst he was a patient.
She invited him to stay overnight at her home after giving him her mobile phone number.
It is reported that during Christmas 2015 the patient was admitted due to an overdose and depression.
The nurse and patient built up a relationship and he was discharged on New Year's Eve. He was located at her house when his mother called the hospital asking where he was.
The trust first suspended her and after that she resigned.
It is believed that she then applied for another nursing job in Wales and claimed she had never worked for the NHS before.
The nurse, from Romania, was then struck off this month after her previous employment transpired.
