Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man was found dead in Hyde.
Shortly after 6pm on Wednesday, 28 June, officers were alerted by the ambulance service to a death at a property on Harbour Farm Road.
On arrival, they discovered the body of a 40-year-old man.
An investigation was immediately launched and a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody for questioning.
A Home Office post-mortem took place yesterday, 29 June, and the man’s next of kin have been informed.
