A motorcyclist died after colliding with a wall in Bolton.
At around 12.15am on Saturday 21 April Greater Manchester Police were called to Pilkington Road in Kearsley, Bolton, to reports that a motorcycle had collided with a wall.
Police and ambulance services attended and 32-year-old Alan Paul Birch was taken to hospital.
He later died as a result of his injuries.
Police have now launched an investigation.
PC Paul Shore from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “My heart goes out to Alanpaul’s family and friends at this unbelievably difficult time. Our specialist support officers are doing all that they can to support them.
“We have launched an investigation and we are hoping that witnesses will come forward and tell us what they have seen. We would particularly like to hear from anyone with any dash-cam footage.”
