The driver of a moped is in a critical condition after crashing with a stationary vehicle in Bury.
Shortly before 2.30am today 27 November, police were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike on Walmersley Road.
A black Peugeot Speedfight moped was travelling along Walmersley Road towards Ramsbottom when it collided with a stationary car.
The 29-year-old driver of the moped was left with serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The road was closed while officers carried out their investigation and has since been reopened.
