Officers searching for a missing teenager from Dewsbury say his body has been found.
West Yorkshire Police were contacted by a member of the public who had found the body of a teenage male in woods off Heckmondwike Road, Dewsbury, on Saturday 20 October.
An ambulance attended and the male was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has been identified as Kieran Wood, aged 16, from Dewsbury, who was reported missing from home on Friday afternoon. Police say his family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and the Coroner’s Office has been informed.
