Police are appealing for witnesses following a violent assault in Huddersfield last weekend.
The incident happened on Saturday 9 December on Cross Church Street in the early hours of the morning.
The victim, a 23-year-old male, was walking with a friend when he was subjected to an unprovoked assault.
He was punched in the face, resulting in a broken jaw and was taken to hospital for treatment.
