A Manchester man has been charged after a woman was attacked in Whalley Range.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, was hospitalised after she was attacked from behind while walking along the road near to the Hare Krishna Centre in Whalley Range.
Genesis Beresford Edwards of Hathersage Road, Manchester, has been charged with attempted murder and has been remanded into custody to appear before Manchester Magistrates Court.
