Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Huddersfield.
The incident took place on Botany Lane at the junction with Gawthorpe Green Lane in Lepton at around 5:30pm yesterday afternoon (4 April).
Police say a Fiat Punto Grande collided with a Peugeot Partner panel van.
The 31-year-old driver of the Punto received serious head injuries and was transported to Leeds General Infirmary via air ambulance.
The driver of the van received minor injuries and was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
