A man wanted by authorities in Europe has been found in West Yorkshire.
Florin Sztoica was the subject of a European Arrest Warrant in Romania after being convicted of child sex offences.
He was sentenced to 2 years 6 months imprisonment.
Officers have been conducting extensive enquiries to find him. It was believed he was living and working in the Dewsbury area of Kirklees but that he may have had contacts across West Yorkshire.
He was arrested by police yesterday evening, 17 July, in Batley.
He has been taken to London to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court.
