A man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in Wigan.
At 6.05pm on Monday 19 June police were notified by the ambulance service that a 33-year-old man had been stabbed at a house on Hodder Close in Norley Hall.
Officers attended and discovered a man with a stab wound to his abdomen. He was taken to hospital in a critical condition but is now stable.
A 27-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody for questioning.
