A man was racially abused and attacked during an incident in Greater Manchester.
The victim, understood to be Muslim, was assaulted on Barlow Moor Road at around 1.30pm on Sunday afternoon, 2 July, near Southern Cemetery in Chorlton.
It is believed the man was with his wife and children at the time.
The attacker fled the scene on foot.
An investigation into the attack has been launched and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The attacker is described as aged between 25-30, 6ft tall, of stocky build and with a shaved head. He was wearing a t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms at the time of the assault.
