A man who purposely crashed his car during a police chase has been sentenced to jail.
The incident that took place last year in May on Dewsbury Road, Beeston, saw Jordan Cooling driving dangerously while his pregnant girlfriend was sat in the passenger.
As he tried to escape the police, he crashed into bollards and the vehicle ended up on top of them.
The 30-year-old pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, two offences of driving without a licence, having no insurance, taking a vehicle without consent, driving while disqualified and making off without payment.
Cooling was jailed for 19 months.
