A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a woman in Rochdale.
A report was made to police of the concern for the welfare of a woman at Rochdale Police Station on Thursday morning (12 April).
Officers attended an address on Alexander street and found the body of a woman.
A 58-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and was taken to hospital for treatment.
