A man is due to appear in court today after being extradited back to the UK to be charged over a robbery on a woman in Leeds last year.
Constantin Adrian Marin, aged 30, who is a Romanian national, was flown back from Switzerland yesterday (21/7) under a European Arrest Warrant secured by officers from Leeds District CID.
Detectives identified him as a suspect in an incident where a 27-year-old woman was attacked on a footpath between Whitehall Road and Gotts Road in the city centre at 8.40pm on Sunday, March 22, 2015.
He is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning.
