A man has died following a police pursuit in Bradford.
At around 2.45am on Monday morning 18 December a silver Audi A4 was sighted on Stoney Ridge Road in the Heaton area of Bradford and failed to stop for officers.
A pursuit commenced and the Audi collided with a barrier on the M606, close to the junction of the M62 westbound, a short time later.
The driver of the Audi, a man in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His family have been informed.
Due to the circumstances an immediate referral was made to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
