In the morning of Sunday 10 June, emergency services responded to a fire on Manning Avenue in Springfield.
A 29-year-old woman escaped the property and her injuries were treated at the scene.
Daniel Harter, 36, of no fixed address, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and common assault.
