A man has been charged in connection with robbery and fraud offences in Manchester.
Mohammed Fathi, 18, of Meltham Avenue, Withington has been charged with two counts of robbery, one count of fraud and one count of attempted fraud.
Fathi is accused of assaulting and robbing a man in Platt Fields Park in Fallowfield at around 6.30pm on Friday 30 November.
A bag containing personal items, bank cards and a mobile phone was stolen.
The charges are also in relation to a report of a robbery in which a man had been threatened, assaulted and robbed on Hewlett Road, Manchester at around 5.30pm on 5 April.
Following the robbery the victim’s bank cards were used for fraudulent transactions on the same day.
