Detectives have arrested a 44-year-old man in connection with an alleged rape in a taxi in the Duke Street area of Sheffield on Sunday morning (Sunday 23 October).
It is reported that at about 1.10am, a 25-year-old woman was the victim of a rape. The incident is believed to have occurred in a taxi following a short journey from the West Street area.
The woman continues to be supported by specialist officers.
