Ian David French of Huddersfield has been given a suspended jail sentence after seven indecent images of children were found on his Acer laptop.
63 prohibited images of children and three extreme images of pornography were also recovered by the police.
The 36-year-old accepted uploading an indecent image of a child to a Facebook account which was in another name and admitted to three charges of possessing prohibited and extreme images, making indecent images and one of distribution.
French was sentenced to eight months in prison suspended for 18 months with a 30 day rehabilitation activity requirement.
