Emergency services were called out to an incident on the outskirts of Bradford city centre on Tuesday (14 August) afternoon.
The incident took place on the junction of Mount Street and Seymour Street in Barkerend. A witness claimed to have seen a group of up to eight men in balaclavas and with weapons attacking one man.
It is believed one of the assailants attempted to steal a grey BMW but crashed into a wall and abandoned the vehicle.
