A man has been arrested in connection with a hammer attack in Leeds.
The 19-year-old, from Leeds, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to the incident in Latchmere Avenue, West Park, on Monday night (17 December).
The victim, a 21-year-old man, was assaulted with a hammer and received head and leg injuries. He remains in a serious condition in hospital.
