A wanted man was arrested by officers on a plane in Leeds as he prepared to fly out to Ibiza on holiday.
Officers boarded the flight which was stopped on the runway at Leeds Bradford Airport to arrest the 24-year-old, from Leeds, after they received information alerting them that he was set to travel.
The man had been wanted for questioning over a robbery at a shop in Kirkstall and a burglary in Boston Spa.
He was interviewed and released from custody in the early hours of this morning pending further enquiries.
