Looked-after children in Bradford were given a treat by a local author.
Simone Malik handed out copies of her book called Themes of Life on Monday 30 April.
The book is child-focused and is a spiritual, creative and psychological approach to tackling some key issues in relationships and in society.
Simone said: "It gives me great pleasure to be given the opportunity to be involved in this cause - through distributing my book and aiming to guide and inspire these children.
"We only become stronger and learn in life through hardships, mistakes and certain experiences; these children have probably already faced so much in life at a young age - and if given the correct guidance and support now, they could have the potential to become the strongest gems in our society!"
