Keighley is to stage the town’s first ever Pride event.
The celebration will take place at Victoria Hall on Saturday 14 September, with live outdoor music, food and drinks, and a disco in the evening.
A spokesman for the organisers said: “Although this is an LGBTQ+ event we would like to encourage all members of the community to attend, as it will be a celebration of tolerance and acceptance. It is a unique opportunity to celebrate Pride locally.
“We’re keen to see as much community involvement as possible to facilitate the event and make it a success.
“If people know anyone who works in security or event promotion, we would love to hear from them.”
